Access Events
To date these events have been held on Kielder Water in Northumberland, Derwent Reservoir in County Durham, Fontburn Reservoir in Northumberland. I have now gained access to Scaling Dam in North Yorkshire, this is still a Northumbrian water reservoir even though it is in Yorkshire. Unfortunately to date the results have not been staggering, with barely a hand full of pike being caught, certainly not another Menteith, but will there ever be another Menteith.
These events are only open to members of the Pike Anglers' Club of Great Britain, members will get updates in pikelines magazine with booking information etc nearer the time.
None PAC members, please think about joining our club, these are just some of the waters you will be able to fish that no other pike angler will be able to gain access to. Not to mention the Lake of Menteith (pike to in excess of 30lb), Wakefield Anglers Country Park (pike to in excess of 20lb), Thorpe Park and many more. Our team of Regional Organizers and Liaison Officers are always on the look out for waters that are not normally fished for pike, so more should become available over the coming seasons.
